While I don't personally know you guys and am way across the pond I do know how fragile and precious life is and just want you to know all ours prayers are with you
Try and keep a positive attitude though it may seem the most difficult thing at the moment, and pour the love on.
Most sincerely, Jim

Hi Siobhan
In the certain knowledge that more is actually more, I would like to add my best wishes to you and Pete. I too met him briefly at Cosford in April and I admire his spirit. A lot of us here are of a certain age and I for one am often thinking ' There but for the Grace of God go I'
Our thoughts and wishes are with you both.
Neil

Hi Siobhan,
Sorry to hear this... Peter was the first to welcome me to a forum such as this when I got back into modelling a few years back...please pass on my best wishes

So sorry to hear this Siobhan, my Mum had a major stroke a few years ago, so know what a terrible thing it is, however she made a full recovery, and enjoys doing everything she did before. All my best to Peter. X

Hi Siobhan

Siobahn, as Pete already knows our thoughts and prayers are with you both in these trying times. Rest assured that all is in the good Lords hands and that what ever the outcome it will be for the best. Please accept my best wishes for a quick and full recovery.

Hi to everyone, firstly can I thank everyone for their very kind comments it's been a great help and comfort. Peter has always said this is a friendly forum.
When I got there this morning I found him sitting up on the edge of the bed with his arm in plaster, basically he had gone for a walk and falling over and broken his wrist trouble is it's his left wrist which is the one that isn't moving that well and now it is not moving at all which my cause a problem later on due to the lack of movement, there is improvement in his left arm and he can move his fingers now they say you should all return and he will be doing physio.
He's got about 75% of his speech back but he moans because he dribbles as I said nothing new there then.
He's being reading a newspapers and it looks like he can still write and doodle ok.
The only worrying thing is he's got trouble with his left eye it looks like he might have lost 50% of vision in it.
The good news is is he may be home Friday providing it doesn't do anything else.
Thank you all again.
Siobhan.

Thanks for the update Siobhan. Good to hear that Peter is on the mend. Tell him not to worry too much about the dribbling - as superannuated modellers we all do that!

Hi Siobhan
Thanks for keeping us up to date. Real shame about Pete's wrist but I'm sure it will mend ok. It is early days yet and already there are positive signs.
All the best to you both.
Thanks again.
Jim
