Operation M. The Great Work Has Begun!

I, for the life of me, do not know (or wish to know) what you are all on about! I for one do not know what Marmite is, nor do I care. It is obviously, not available here in the Colonies States and if it is, they are keeping it a very large secret!! So far, from what I have read, it is somewhere between the "Cats whisker" and the Horses A**...take yer pick! I for one am neither "here" nor "there" ! :tongue-out3:

Calm down Bro!!! It's all a matter of serious research on this subject. The above posted links are in fact, "Fake News"...Remember the reports of Paul McCartney getting killed in a car accident back when???

I dug deep and found the "Rest of the Story" about Marmite. Quite interesting and according to Wackypedia, it was discovered by a modeler (Harvee Wallbanger?) on the Insel in the early 70's. He developed the formula to finally get his overly-thick Tamiya decals to stick on his models and to snuggle into the seams. He had to add the yeast to cover up the smell, as his wife couldn't stand it or the smell of his enamel paints either. Word spread and soon many modelers on the Insel were using his formula with great results on their kits...

During the blizzard winter of 1974 (about 6 inches max!), food was in short supply as many modelers couldn't get to the store to buy foodstuffs. One morning, Harvee's wife, by accident, grabbed the wrong jar out of the cupboard and instead of jam, smeared Marmite on his toast. Being a bit hungover, Harvee ate the toast and........survived!! He stated that it tasted rather good and really stuck to his ribs. Word spread and soon, modelers all over the Insel gave it a try......But!!!

Some loved it and others hated it. The lovers were getting 2 uses out of it. Sticking decals and something to eat on their toast, out of a jar. The haters only used it to stick decals on their models, but pretty soon along came Micro Sol & Set on the scene. The haters threw their jars of the stuff away and went with these new formulas on the market, and never looked back...

So now we have 2 sides, facing off in this debate. Wackypedia didn't mention if Marmite came in different colors like Dark Yellow or Panzer Gray. If it does, then we have just opened up another can of worms here...

Anyway, thanks to Wackypedia for finally bringing out the truth in this massive debate!!! Now, fight nice guys.....

Think I'll stick to hob nobs and call it good! ;)
Be careful Rick!!!...Hobnobs, according to Wackypedia, are really an Insel version of sanding sponges. Baking time dictates the proper grit you will need to sand your models...............

Love it! And you didn’t even mention it was invented by a German Chemist called Justus Liebig. Now, that’s a name you couldn’t make up. It fits into the story just fine……Just us, lie big!

Although no-one has said so, I suspect some of our supporters may be dreading the effect of those projectors shown by Tim. Don't panic! Careful study of the pictures will show that the power feed for these admittedly fearsome looking weapons is nothing more that a 12V 5W USB cable! Such feeble devices will have no effect on citizens and I suspect they are mere propaganda mock-ups created by MORON.

Similarly the detectors shown simply do not have the necessary sophistication to detect our projected rays.

Allen - I hate to tell you, but your diligent research into Wackypedia is flawed. Along with many other articles that can be found there, some of them are not absolutely correct. In this case thay say that Marmite was originally developed as a decal fixer. This is not strictly true as it was in fact developed as a masking fluid for canopies. The rest of the article is however substantially correct.

I have trust In the strength of Marmite, and have decided to hold my shock weapon in reserve, to mop up final pockets of resistance. I have boxes of Twiglets all ready to deploy - you have been warned...................

Surely these can't be real Dave? Marmite should remain in the jar as far as Im concerned.

Please tell me you've knocked these off on your 3D printer.

I think a moderator should swiftly remove all that Marmite pornography from the site as it is upsetting to us haters, so much so that those in charge up here are thinking of putting the SSHS...........The Scottish Special Haggis Service on high alert just in case there is a move made against the Scottish haters.

Andy where's yer troosers.
