Operation M. The Great Work Has Begun!

I think a moderator should swiftly remove all that Marmite pornography from the site as it is upsetting to us haters, so much so that those in charge up here are thinking of putting the SSHS...........The Scottish Special Haggis Service on high alert just in case there is a move made against the Scottish haters.

Andy where's yer troosers.
If we start taking on tatties, neeps, and haggis the wind really will blow high and low Mr Stewart……

An acquired taste, you can't help having the missing taste buds Chris, just admit it. We shall over come Dr Mindbender easily as Matron has discovered a new treatment against the rays.

Seriously - what's the worst thing that is eaten as a 'regular' food? Ray Mears, well kown for eating grubs & worms etc will not believe that people eat Brussel Sprouts voluntarily! My own personal horror was being given some Tripe and Onions as a kid ( maternal grandparents ), not even knowing what it was, my stomach rejected it. Finding out later what it actually was brought on the dry heaves. Even now, nearly 60 years later it makes me uneasy typing about it!!!

The Allies are gathering..........................

so - I may never need to deploy the Twiglets!!!
Dave
ps you can get Marmite Crunchy Peanut Butter, as well!

All these picture do is reinforce the fact that M on its own is inedible - it has to be mixed with proper food before it can be consumed!

I ate Tripe on a few occasions a few years ago in Taiwan a couple of times, in a spicy hot pot with other meat amd veg. It wasn't bad actually.

I've never eaten the stuff over here at all.

Personally, I think it’s probably standard broccoli……tasteless, with a nasty texture, what’s to like….(quite like tenderstem though.)
I love Brussels sprouts…..with bacon and chestnuts there isn’t much in the vegetable line that can beat them….

Sprouts beautiful, broccoli as well , just a light steaming , perfect .
Unfortunately those who don't like Marmite probably don't like sprouts either Tim .
We should feel sorry for these lost souls , at least there's more for us :nerd:

I'LL Have you know mr John i love sprouts an cauli an brokkie an carrots an oinins an most fruit but not the big M LOL

Our local served Brussels Sprouts cooked with Ma----e at Christmas - to me that is equivalent to having my eyes pegged open under a blazing sun in the Atacama Desert  (Mind you the Guv'nor is mad as a bunch of frogs and an ex-Grenadier Guard to boot!)
