Looking good Ian, a lot of extra work on this old kit but you're turning it into a gem.
Got this primed and pre- shaded, also painted the underside Sky.

Sorry for being very late to the party. I've got to say that really is looking rather nice indeed, although as others have said it can't be a small bird at that scale.

I’ve put the decals for this In a safe place and can’t seem to find them.
Oops. That's up there with me managing to lose half the wheels on a German 8 wheeled armoured car....
It’s an old age thing, I think? I can’t remember.
