Nearly done with this one. An out of the box build with just paint masks as extra. I was going to go to town with more AM but in the end opted for an OOB to see how the kit went together, I found some fit problems with the wing to lower fuselage join and needed to shim with plasticard - just like the Hasegawa 1/48 kit.
Just the wing tanks to fit, one needs a respray because I had terrible trouble getting paint to stick even after a through wash & degrease.
I have two more in the stash with plans for a 17 Sqn jet and an early 56 Sqn jet in maintenance inspired by some images I found online.

Excellent work Rick. Once again, the quality of finishing belies the size of the model.

Top job rick , lovely paintwork and spot on weathering , cheers tony

Stunning, I do love a Phantom, especially the british versions.

That is very nice. Another one I need to build. For me, the Phantom, is one of those aircraft, that just looks right.
