About 5 km away. I live on Walcheren, a former island that controls access to Antwerp, one of the largest ports in Europe. In late 1944, the Battle of the Scheldt was fought here, and included two amphibious landings on 1 November 1944. This tank came ashore then, and took part in all the rest of the fighting. There are pictures of it in this film:

For example, at 2:33 minutes, it’s the tank on the right, and at 4:23, it’s the tank in the background.
