Lee,
it's a 'special edition' - which means they added an extra sprue of weapons!

More money making... at least it's not a T34, MkIV or signs!:tongue-out3:

Good god man, don’t worry about presents, we’ve had our Christmas Dinner plated up and in the freezer ready to microwave for three months……

Don’t know about creme eggs, but they can’t wait for Halloween to be over so they can put out the pumpkins for next year….

Only if this is for their 2022 Xmas calendar. Otherwise I reckon they're a couple of months late!

Just had an email from Airfix - 'on approach'
airfix valiant.jpg
I'm always puzzled by the Airfix marketing strategy - this was released in 2011, was available for a short while, then went out of production & disappeared off the shelves. A look at ebay & 2nd hand sites gives collectors prices, so there is a demand, why wait ten years before reissuing albeit with decal changes ( parts as well? ), has sales of the 1/72 Vulcan kickstarted this reissue? This can apply to several Airfix releases................

I have to agree Dave, there's quite a few smaller planes I've looked at recently where I've discovered that exact problem....

Could be that the initial moulding run doesn’t sell as quickly as expected so they wait for demand to build up before repopping it Dave.
