Lee,
it's a 'special edition' - which means they added an extra sprue of weapons!

I have to agree Dave, there's quite a few smaller planes I've looked at recently where I've discovered that exact problem....Just had an email from Airfix - 'on approach'
I'm always puzzled by the Airfix marketing strategy - this was released in 2011, was available for a short while, then went out of production & disappeared off the shelves. A look at ebay & 2nd hand sites gives collectors prices, so there is a demand, why wait ten years before reissuing albeit with decal changes ( parts as well? ), has sales of the 1/72 Vulcan kickstarted this reissue? This can apply to several Airfix releases................
Dave
Your guess is as good as mine!Could be that the initial moulding run doesn’t sell as quickly as expected so they wait for demand to build up before repopping it Dave.
