Scale Model Shop

Spots on the Internet (2023)

On the ICM Facebook page - 'soon on sale'

I wonder why 1/144? - I can only think of one or two WWII ship models in this scale ( Revell Flower & LSM )

On the Amusing Hobby Facebook page

Hmm - a future development, based on the Leopard 2A4
Dave
Not exactly a future development: it has been presented at Eurosatory in 2022 as a Rheinmetall private venture. It's armed with a brand new 130/52 mm smoothbore gun and has many high-tech built-in features (some of them are easily detectable even in Amusing Hobby cover art) while the hull is a Leopard 2 family development to reduce project's risks and costs.

On the Trumpeter/HobbyBoss/I Love Kits Facebook page their 2023 catalogue
It seems I Love Kit is being positioned as an alternative to MiniArt and Takom with that whole range of M3 medium tank kits — too bad I read that the versions they released over the last few years are inferior to both of those. Also a complete range of M48 kits, it’ll be interesting to see how those compare to the recent Takom ones (and if Takom is going to backdate their A3 to ≤ A2).

On the Takom Facebook page - confirmation of two releases................

On the Mikromir Facebook page Boxart for their upcoming Martin XB-51 in 1/72

This lost out to the EE Canberra - which Martin then produced!

On the Gecko Facebook - In addition to two earlier models, two accessory sets

Bailey bridge elements & Sherman tanks are available in 1/87 scale. Jus'say'n.

All those 1/16 subjects from Trumpy, I Love Kit and Hobby Boss look great. 2023 though? I somehow doubt it!

With trumpeter believe it when you see it! They have listed 1/350 Nelson/Rodney for a few yrs, but nothing.

Allen
Oh dear Allen's caught the double wingy stringbag bug. :smiling6:

Cheers,

Lots of goodies comming to all at the moment ,as most know 72nd is my thing and if this is the future ill have some price dependent being the only drawback Screenshot_20230301-201417_Chrome.jpg
Now I know most hate em but I dont mind individual links even in 72nd but this nearly knocked me over 0.2 rod ala fruils , their casting isn't very good on most you end up drilling out the links in 35th ,so just how good is 3d printing

Once again its down to cost why pay as much or more than the kit ,still pretty impressive stuff. Dave
