Nice crisp sprues, though there seem to be two sets of wings….

Lots of canopies….I’m sure all will become clear once I start…..

Good decals, masks, a bit of resin, and cockpit etch…

Excellent instruction book with five potential colour schemes, all Western front types.

It will be a couple of weeks before I start, but thought it time I got the thread up and running….just wish we were doing this for a happier reason.

Nice choice Tim. These Eduard Profipack kits are usually rather good. Decent price and lots included.

Cheers guys. Looking forward to building this myself…l.

Looks like a cracking kit Tim. I didn't realise those Eduard kits came with so much extra gubbins...

The Profipack ones do Nick. They are really good value. Last one I built was one of the zeros, and I think it was the best kit I’ve ever built…

and a pilots eye view (more or less)….

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice that the joystick isn’t from the kit…..the original is in orbit somewhere around Jupiter so I scratched a replacement from nickel silver wire…..should be good enough in a closed up fuselage, especially as the front screen support is still to be fitted over the top of the instrument panel…...

Beautiful cockpit Tim , very neatly done . Must be the season for joystick gremlins - mine disappeared too ! 🤔
