I'd be interested, but not exactly sure how that works...
... I'm guessing you'd need a webcam?!!....
Interesting idea and yes a webcam is a must. You get Zoom easy enough free and you used to be able to run meetings for 45 for free on it. It would sometimes let you go longer and if not you just had a second meeting scheduled to follow om from the first one.....
An interesting thought. Plenty of different video chat options.
My biggest wondering would be would you have the bench, yourself or both in frame? Not sure what would be best there...
If you have a tablet or a smartphone you have that covered. Most laptops have one built in. Not all though.

I have several cameras so could do the bench, my face, back of my head. The finer details could be worked out and refined over time. I know my local(ish) IPMS branch has monthly Zoom meetings and my wargames group had "paint and chat" sessions over the periods of lockdown.
And of course with no driving there's no limitation on beverages.
Interesting idea. Not really sure if I’d be interested though. My steam powered desktop would need a camera and headset mike to be fit for purpose.
My webcams have a pretty good mic. Headsets only really useful if in an office envioroment.
Ive got a half decent laptop and i know how to turn it on.......... and thats it!!
Yep, but without the headset I’d have no sound…….
Sure it would probably be a lot of middle aged to older gentlemen spouting rubbish anyway.

.... you don't have to "appear".... Just a voice and the occasional pair of hands flashing across the bench would suffice I reckon....
..... that's what I'm planning on...

I avoid social media etc. like the plague, The p.m.'s on here are all I need.
