After having panic when not finding a clear sprue, I thought I’d check out one in my stash

Turns out I already started the Spit - it’s been primed - and as I’d hate to go against the spirit, clearly, I need to go shopping

And striking while the iron is hot, ordered one from SMS (well two, because, you know, choice…) will join when they arrive this week.

The Spifire GB is really picking up pace. Some great builds in the pipeline.

I think I will be doing this - there is a blue/grey scheme from Malta which I like. Probably in flight. To be confirmed at the weekend

Id just like to say how impressed i am at the number of spitfires being built....... This going to be a very successful GB

Did a bit of number crunching out of interest

16 kits being built........ 9 variants of the aircraft

5 different brands of kits.......
8 x airfix
4 x eduard
2 x revell.
1 x italeri
1 x tamiya

Im enjoying this GB at lot...... Thinking about doing another just fir the fun of it

I've really enjoyed getting involved in the group builds over the last few years. I missed most of last year due to real life stuff but it seems to have been wiped from the history books anyway

Some of them have pushed me to try new things, new subjects, but all seem to build the community spirit around here.

I tried to resist - everyone does a Spit, I’m going to stand above everyone else and not do one….

But then all these fabulous threads started appearing and there’s only so much cutting your nose off to spite your face you can really do.!
