discussion We are moving, again

Not the forum but the shop, we have been going for 10 years and have moved several times, and every time we move, I say this is the last time, we’ll this is the last time, 6000sqft should be enough, I’ve taken on 2 new people so there are 5 of us now.

Here are some pics of the new place, still things in from the previous company but still plenty of space to go.

only five of you - looks like you can have two offices or meeting rooms each then John :smiling5:

looks more office block than distribution warehouse at the moment - not quite what I was expecting

lighting, plenty of power, vent, sprinklers, fire alarm, security so plenty of services assuming they all work

the big room with the racking around the perimeter looks a bit of an oddity though - suspended ceiling in parts, open to soffit with batten fittings in others and it looks like someone has nicked the cladding off the columns

sorry, I spend all day drawing this stuff in 3d for work

It's a bit naughty, you having to clear up after the last lot. But then again, if it's useful junk, bonus.

I think at sometime the suspended ceiling must have been more offices, all that lighting will be changing to LED.

We probably won’t need to use the front offices for a while, but if we didn’t take this unit we would have not had chance to get something bigger in the same mill, it’s less than 5 mins from home and plenty of free parking.

We also will have our own access instead of going through several security doors to the 3rd floor.

The last company sold cashmere and made it up for companies like Bentley, they have left loads of Bentley branded boxes, so we will be making use of them, also got myself a nice Ralph Lauren scarf and the wife has got gloves, scarfs, tops, she loves it
