He certainly isTremendous work John, you are really good at this.
Thanks , I actually recognise the actor Andrea.John, I was lagging behind with your build. It's amazing! The hints about how to glue plastic frames are very useful as I'm facing a similar problem trying to scratch build a modern vehicle radio rack.
Moreover, I had a sort of déjà-vu when I saw the priest figure: that's why:
He's the French actor Fernadel! :smiling3:
He's still rather famous in Italy for some comedy movies where he acted as a smart country priest always battling against the local, communist, Mayor back in the '50s.
Andrea
Very kind of you Bob, thanks .Tremendous work John, you are really good at this.

Thanks very much Mike ,glad you enjoy following .This is coming along really nicely. I love following your diorama builds and watching them come to life.
Thank you Richard. Even have some potted plants to show soon !Hi John, been doing some ketchup...er, I mean catch up. Using your woodworking skills on the building... the window frames are looking great.:thumb2:
Cheers,
Richard
Andrew :smiling3:John
Yes Dave I was concerned at the beginning, but agree now they've all been built . They look a natural group that you might see .I like the figures. Despite your concerns about different sizes from different manufacturers, you've ended up with a nice variation of height and build. I think that's better than having them all the same basic height - which you wouldn't see in a normal crowd of people.
:smiling3:Spot on Dave. :thumb2:
Sorry,. Could have sworn if edited that to say I rather like it!!Thanks very much Mike ,glad you enjoy following .
Thank you Richard. Even have some potted plants to show soon !

Yes John, I will join you in that......hopefully JR will have employed the "portly" patissari princess to serve us our sweet breads and tea.Jean
You made a very good start on the construction of your cafe. The carpentry looks quite convincing. I'm waiting for the tricks to be complete and I'll come for a coffee croissant.
John

T'as fait un tres bon depart sur la construction de ton cafe. Le menuiserie a l'air tout a fait convaincant. J'attends que les figures soient complete et je viendrai pour un cafe croissant.
John
Thanks Steve, looking fwd to the figures ,at last something with out 4B0 and packs .:smiling3:Been following this with deep interest John and have to say it's excellent! I have a couple of the sets of figures you propose to use in (unfinished) dioramas - they certainly add interest and depth to scenes! Look forward to your renditions and final masterpiece!
Steve
