1/35 Gecko Mk2 Daimler armoured car

That's impressive construction Dave. Very neat and the PE is worth the effort

Just dropped in for the first time!! Rather you than me is all I can say!

It is looking very good though!

That is a lot of parts in such a small space!

Thanks for the encouragement folks I've had a morning off from it today there's only so much working through the magnifier I can do. I did a bit of track laying on my railway layout for a break. I'll then do a little more but surprisingly the turret and floor fits and lines up into the hull which was pleasing.

Excellent build of a very intricate and delicate kit. It’s coming along really, really nicely and deserves to be finished, more so because the actual vehicle has meaning for you.
All the best

This morning I finally got the main gun finished all 24 pieces, the turret interior and the mantlet I think attaching this to the turret is going to be interesting.

Coming along very nicely. Just one question: why are they keeping horseshoes inside the turret? ;)

Never made a Gecko kit and on the basis of your build my eyes are saying 'Nah'! Yours is looking most excellent - very neat and tidy!

Makes the horse feel at home when they lever him in through the top of the turret….

Excellent looking build Dave, plenty of detail to keep you busy :thumb2:

A very nice build Dave.
So many PE parts and not a **** word from you! Outstanding! ;)

Worth every penny you paid I guess along with the aggravation. :smiling6: Getting this far must be exhilarating. Does look good with a busy interior.
I find working in sub assemblies helps a little and stepping back for a while when you hit a problem does too.
Gecko's given you almost everything...did they provide a cigarette lighter?:smiling2:

Cheers,
Wabble

I'm sure there's more parts in it than the real one.

Dave

You're doing a great job Dave. It's a challenging kit but worth the effort
