Please Neil, don't be put off over a WnW's kit as they are great. The probs are not the kits' fault, but mine, the Bonehead who is building it!!! The little parts are for the particular plane you are building. Grenades, bombs, flares and such do take time to finish, but I think they will look ok when in place on her. I am still having fun my friend...Blimey Allen you're still with this, I'm impressed! It seems like a real labour of love to me and I am now totally cured of my previous temptation for a WNW kit...
Thanks Tim! I hope so too. The wings looked like that mug you used to put in the freezer for your beer. Finally had a warm, windless day, so I decided to spray, but forgot to turn on my brain...I hope you are doing better too Buddy...Great work as always Allen. Going to look fantastic when it’s done. Glad you managed to recover the frosty coating though…..
Not really stressed Dude 2, but felt like the village idiot. It cleaned off and now I can try it again. Stammtisch was needed as well as bowling on Saturday evening too!!! PM later...Dude, bet you were stressed out when you saw the result. No wonder you went out to Stammtisch !
Nice recovery though.
Morn Andy! You are so right Sir and it's a trick I never knew about!!! Live and learn...Oh wow, at least you now have a trick up your sleeve if you want to do a winter scene :smiling2:
Thanks guys and now it's time to play at the table. If it warms up a bit more today, maybe I can get a (correct) matt coat shot on the wings. I masked the strut/rigging holes on the wings yesterday...
Prost
Allen
