Hi everyone, here is my take on the Airfix kit.

Enhanced with a BigED set for the interior, wheel wells and landing flaps, also added brass barrels as the kit could use that little extra too:cool:
Although I planned to enter it in a GB, mojo loss prevented that.

First time I modified a kit so much and a good learning experience, great kit with some care for the fitting but you don’t need any putty on the major parts
Thanks for looking in.
Fernando.

That’s a great looking bird Fernando. Fantastic work on the flaps.

Very nice Fernando. I'm rather attracted to your rivets in the wheel wells, a nice detail.

Wow Fernando,

You really did finish this off most excellently!!! A really great paint job too!!! Are you on vacation or something???

Lovely build Fernando and the extras really set it off a treat.

Superb build fernando , the quality is top class . The wheel well shot looks like a pic from a walkaround of the real thing ! Fantastic work , cheers tony

That's smart buddy, like Colin and Tim the flaps and wheels well rivets are great.

Fantastic work Fernando. I’ve done the night fighter version, and looking at yours, I’m tempted to do that scheme too.

Hi Fernando
That has come out a treat. Definitely worth the investment in the extras. A plane we don't see modelled very often. a result to be proud of.

Thanks for the comments guys:thumb2::thumb2:

Might be tempted to do the nightfighter version only in the smaller scale sometime in the future.
Oh and the rivet detail in the wheel wells is all Eduard from their etch set, model air aluminium and a light wash does miracles:cool:

Fantastic build Fernando, I think there is a sudden interest surge in the Defiant with three featured in the forum in about the same time and yours has all the bells and whistle on it.

Cheers,
Richard

Yet again I'm missing stuff!

Fernando, this is a top drawer build for sure.
Excellent result and I'm sorry for missing this first time around.
