That’s a bit strange, but I suppose if the hip joint is in good condition then it doesn’t need replacement. I was about 62 when I first went to the GP with this and was given physio because it “wasn’t bad enough”, but I think that was age related and I was considered too young.Glad to hear its going well Tim, just make sure you do the exercises to build up the muscles and soft tissue.
My wife fell down the last two steps of our stairs and fractured her hip.
They considered her too young for a replacement (might live long enough for it to wear out)
Instead she had a repair with screws and a plate, been nine months now and still not back to where she was before.
