Mucho Excitedo! GoT New Series

Thread owner
The last season was rushed (especially the battles) and could have been filmed over two seasons. But i still enjoyed it. Visuals were stunning as always

What is this Game of Thrones you talk of, am I missing out on something special?

Andy.

The 'prequel' books were excellent (many dragons) as well as the "Hedge Knight".

I just wish we'd been able to have the whole lot in book form first.....

Nick

You're not alone - I haven't either (nor read the books)

Nor me, just wasn't interested, everyone at work was like 'you must it's amazing'... uh no thanks!

Lee

I was skeptical at first but finally sat through a marathon of episodes with SWMBO and daughter. Put on a bit of weight with the snacks :smiling6:

Cheers,
Richard

I watched a part of a couple of episodes because so many people were raving bout it, but didn't think it worth watching.

I watched them all. Thought it was a well made entertaining series with a rushed ending. I don’t quite see what there was to totally obsess over though, but if it floats your boat, go for it.

Well i thought maybe some people would like to know about the new series. Maybe i was wrong. Lesson learned.

well I for one am interested to hear of the new series. Read the books before I watched the series and found both enjoyable. For me they did a great job of bringing it to life, although the last series did feel rushed.

Reading back over this, we have come across as a sad bunch of mood hoovers haven’t we....
Sorry Alan, I hope you really enjoy it. I’ll probably watch it anyway.

I have seen GoT loved it. Nudity, violence and dragons, what's not to like.
Loved Matt Smith as the doctor and will be interesting to see him in another role.
Agree the end Og GoT was a bit naff.

No, you enjoy it, and want to pass on the news - I've never watched it for the main reason, I don't have Netflix (think that that's the only way to watch it) & I rarely watch TV - and haven't come across the book series yet.
