Bob, I realise I'm late to the party, but have you considered an insulated garage door. Admittedly, they do cost a bit, but really work well.

The room is located about a third of the way into the garage. With plywood walls on both sides and the end walls of the room where they meet the garage walls, with insulation in between. Should be warm enough to both work on and protect the paints. Going to buy 2 cheap thermometers to put in the room and in the actual garage so I can compare the temp.
Do not know if painting the floor will help as well??
Looking good Bob. One thing though. You might regret those paints and spray cans right by the window.

Sealing the floor will definitely help. You can just glue sections of solid insulation on the door sections, remember to bevel edges for the bend at roll-up.

Electrics done, spent this morning fitting a rug I found on the garage rafters, brand new still packaged. No idea when we got it???
Where there was exposed garage floor I put down some Mexican carpet, underlay, underlay!!!! Here all week lol.

The new large booth, a joint birthday pressie has arrived. They look fine against each other. However if I leave the side and roof led lights fitted there's the led trunking in the way
I would have to use both turntables to raise a ships hull high enough to clear
If take the lights out I of course lose lights but the floor is level. Out of sight there's a ceiling mounted led batten which gives of good lighting. Will have to experiment??
By far the biggest problem is the ventilation trunking, its very stiff and a bugger to use, so my yearly brainwave!!!!
I am going to use tumbledryer vent pipe instead, so much easier, phew problem sorted!
