As the title, does anyne know where I can purchase material to make filters for my spraybooth? I know you can buy filters on Ebay, etc but I woud like to get a roll of it to cut my own (cheapskate).

Andy.

What type of filter does your booth use andy? Maybe the stuff they use for pond filters would be ok ? You can get a 5 mt x 18” roll on ebay for less than a tenner https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FILTER-F...=p2349624.m2548.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 . My own spray booth is a heath robinson affair , made from an old kitchen extractor unit turned on its side . I use the flat type extractor grease filters , cheap enough at around £3 for a pair.

Thanks for that Tony, but I think that stuff is too thin so I would have to cut a few to fill the space in the booth.

I use 2 sheets of kitchen-hood filter (cut to size), works great for me (diy spraybooth).

I was about to suggest using that too :) Not that I tried it on mine, but what’s in it now sure looks like it’s interchangeable with it.

I use a couple of layers of garden antifreeze material wrap as a pre filter, takes the heavyweight spray out before it reaches the finer filters.

You can always wash the old one in the washing machine as well. Just don’t put it in with your whites…..
