What flew over your house (yesterday)

Heard - but not seen - several heavy jets in succession yesterday - I read today that they were 4 B-52s going to RAF Fairford - east of Cirencester

Any live on the Kent coast? Whilst working from home today there was a thunderous roar. Ran out into the garden to see half a dozen I think it was F15 Eagles fly over pretty low! We have the spitfires all the time but this was quite a awesome sight today, what a treat
Now that is a 'spot'

Over here we get the fat ones instead of the sleek ones. German A400's made a stopover nextdoor at Subang enroute to Australia for a joint exercise. The Typhoons on the other hand stopped over at Singapore. Wondered why all the big jet noise was all about.

Cheers,
Richard

We're due for a 'Buf' flyover of a wing to commemorate VN vets. Older than all that fly them, they're quite something to behold.

We only got a pair on Friday, heard but not seen, but another pair were at the Fairford base, England.

Living not far from DSA at finningley we can always here airliners taking off but today heard a tremendous noise and went outside to see a huge aircraft slowly climbing almost directly over us which is not the usual route. Quick check of flight radar showed it to be an Antonov 124-100

A couple of these flew over Henley on Thames yesterday evening ( hence dark shots!)
Not up on helicopter recognition, but I'm sure someone will tell me !

Had the usual pair of F-16 on their way to escort some 'lost' Russian aircraft the way home. Happens a lot of late.
Have gad a couple E-101 merlin buzz by as well on training flights..

That's funny Steve because we had one fly over this evening too. Just wish my hands were steadier with the camera....

Two French Rafales and a tanker just took off next door enroute to Indonesia.
