I have the earlier iteration cloths Karl. I’m sure these sponges will make it easier to get a consistent finish. The only advantage the cloths have is that they are colour coded to match the polishes.
The Tamiya cloths are 3 times the price of these too. Had both in my basket for a whileI have the earlier iteration cloths Karl. I’m sure these sponges will make it easier to get a consistent finish. The only advantage the cloths have is that they are colour coded to match the polishes.

My modest haul from the Hinckley show . Despite telling myself I was only going to buy supplies as I have more than enough kits to be going on with , I managed to go twenty yards before I bought this
its the old Heller kit but its a really nice one and with the benefit of Airfix decals ( heller decals are usually a bit dodgy) , bargain at £3!
Also got some brass tubing and fine paintbrushes and just on the way out at the end of the day got this bargain for £15
The Tamiya zero is an older tooling but still a nice kit and came with the SBS resin cockpit , eduard pe fret , brass machine guns and resin wheels ! I’m a bit confused though ( i know , it doesnt take much !) , the resin wheels are much smaller in diameter than the kit ones , in fact they look TOO small so these might be going on ebay , possibly with the resin cockpit too.

I've tried several methods for gluing clear parts, and not been 100% satisfied with the results. My Blenheim's Cockpit canopy comes in two halves,so a quality join is important.
I saw this in an email from John last week,so thought I'd give it a go....
Excellent, fast delivery as always....
.... We'll see how it performs.![]()
