Great result. The scheme really works. I thing the Mossie looks very much the part in the Silver finish.

Simply brilliant.

A great model of a great plane using markings I've never seen before. Very well done indeed!!

Top notch work on display.

That's a different scheme, to me anyway, and I like it loads. Great job.

Thanks guys. I do have an interest in early Israeli armed forces. Ignoring the politics the way the newly formed Jewish state sourced weapons has to be admired. A new country populated by a people for whom the Holocaust was a recent nightmare and surrounded by enemies - and yet they survived.

Jim,
Brilliant build - lovely to look at.
What metallic did you use?
Kind regards,
John

Thanks John
I used Vallejo Metal Color Aluminium and Dark Aluminium. Vallejo suggest using its black gloss primer. As this was a painted surface I wanted it less metallic so I used Stynylrez grey primer. I think that Metal Color is probably the best water based metallic paint around. They do a good range.
