Good afternoon all

As some of you know my lovely mother Eleanor was diagnosed with bowel cancer followed by vascular dementia last year.

Sadly mum passed yesterday afternoon in the care home. Mum had deteriorated rapidly over the last week and the nasty pain had set in, her passing although so upsetting is also a relief. I was with mum so she was not on her own. No more pain mum.

Truly a horrible few yrs of health issues, hopefully things will get better and easier for us now.

Busy now with the paperwork, preparing the funeral arrangements, solicitor and the probate and a lot of other things. At least my mind is being kept busy.

I must thank, in no order, Chris, John, Andrew, Ian and Al. They have been so supportive over the last 10 horrible months. Priceless support, thank you all.

Our deepest condolences from Carina and I.

Bob,
Yvonne and Myself send you out deepest sympathies.
We all have to go, but it should never be like this.
Mike

My deepest sympathy Bob. After having to deal with this last year I know how hard it can be.

Deepest condolences to you and your family Bob. I know just how much you've been looking after her for a while now and whilst it isn't great, at least now she is free from the issues you described to me.

Again mate. Love and condolences to you all

Hi Bob

You're more than welcome and I think Alan's comment above sums up my thoughts perfectly.

All the best my friend.

Andrew

Deepest Condolences Bob, losing one's mother is never easy but sometimes the circumstances pile on the agony. Condolences once again.
